Cleveland, OH – Ohio residents will experience below-normal temperatures Saturday as highs struggle to rise beyond the 30s. However, a significant warmup is on the horizon, with temperatures expected to climb into the 60s early next week.
According to the National Weather Service Cleveland, much of northern Ohio will see daytime highs in the low to mid-30s on Saturday, with slightly warmer temperatures reaching the upper 30s in the southern portion of the region. Wind chills will make it feel even colder, especially in the morning hours.
The cold snap will be short-lived, as temperatures begin a steady rise starting Sunday. By Monday and Tuesday, highs will reach the 60s across the area, marking a dramatic shift from the weekend’s chilly conditions. Forecasters also indicate that by Friday, some locations could see highs approaching 70 degrees.
Residents are advised to bundle up for the weekend but prepare for a noticeable shift in conditions. The warming trend will bring a taste of spring, making for milder mornings and comfortable afternoons. Motorists and pedestrians should remain cautious as icy patches could develop overnight before the warmup fully takes hold.
