Cleveland, Ohio – Much of Ohio will see a cloudy but mild Saturday, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s and only a slim chance of stray showers across northwest counties this afternoon or evening. For most of the state, conditions will stay dry, with overnight lows dipping into the 50s to near 60.
According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, temperatures will run slightly warmer than average today before cooler air settles in overnight. The agency noted that while Findlay, Mansfield, and Columbus could climb into the low to mid-80s, areas along Lake Erie such as Cleveland, Sandusky, and Toledo will stay closer to the mid to upper 70s.
Drivers in northwest Ohio may encounter brief sprinkles during the late afternoon or evening, but no widespread rain is expected. Outdoor plans around Akron, Youngstown, and Canton should go uninterrupted aside from extra cloud cover. Skies will clear somewhat overnight, allowing for cooler lows in the 50s across eastern and central Ohio.
Residents are advised to keep light jackets handy for evening activities as temperatures fall quickly after sunset.
More clouds are likely to linger into Sunday, with the next significant rain chance not expected until early next week.
