Cleveland, OH – Post-Tropical Cyclone Beryl will pass north of Lake Erie today, bringing muggy and windy conditions to Ohio. The National Weather Service in Cleveland reports that while the threat of heavy rain has mostly ended, scattered showers are expected to continue throughout the day, accompanied by a chance of thunderstorms.

According to the National Weather Service, the high temperature for today will range between 78 to 88 degrees Fahrenheit, with the hottest temperatures expected in the northeastern part of the state. Wind gusts are anticipated to reach between 25-35 mph, particularly affecting areas along Lake Erie and in northwest Pennsylvania.

The forecast predicts scattered showers, with thunderstorms likely to develop later in the day. A few stronger thunderstorms could occur, particularly in northwest Pennsylvania, through the early afternoon. Residents are advised to stay alert and be prepared for sudden weather changes.
