Cleveland, OH – Cooler and less humid weather is set to arrive in Ohio today, bringing a welcome change for residents. Despite a slight chance of sprinkles near Lake Erie, the forecast predicts dry conditions through the weekend. Brisk northerly winds will contribute to choppy conditions on Lake Erie, posing challenges for small craft and swimmers, particularly this morning.

According to the US National Weather Service Cleveland, today’s high temperatures will reach around 75°F in Cleveland, Akron-Canton, and other nearby areas. The temperatures will remain mild, gradually increasing throughout the weekend. Friday promises plenty of sunshine with highs in the upper 70s, and light winds coupled with low humidity will make for a pleasant day.

The sunny weather continues into Saturday, with highs reaching the low 80s. Sunday will bring a mix of sun and clouds and slightly warmer temperatures, reaching mid-80s. The dry conditions will persist into Monday, with partly sunny skies and higher humidity levels, though rain is not expected.

Lake Erie will experience choppy conditions today, with peak wave heights reaching 2 to 4 feet between Sandusky and Geneva-On-The-Lake. Rough conditions will ease by early Friday morning, but swimmers should exercise caution due to moderate rip current risks.
