Cleveland, OH – Northeast Ohio will see an extended stretch of warm, dry weather heading into the weekend, with temperatures running well above average for early October.
According to the National Weather Service Cleveland, daytime highs are expected to climb 10 to 15 degrees above normal on Saturday and Sunday across much of northern Ohio and nearby areas of Pennsylvania. Many cities, including Akron, Cleveland, and Erie, are forecast to reach the upper 70s and low 80s through the weekend.
While the warm conditions may be welcome for outdoor plans, the region continues to see limited rainfall. Meteorologists say no precipitation is expected until at least Tuesday, October 7, leaving lawns, gardens, and farmland in need of moisture.
Residents can expect consistent sunshine and above-normal warmth through Monday, with slightly cooler conditions returning early next week as rain chances develop. The upcoming rainfall will likely provide some relief to the ongoing dry stretch but is not expected until after the weekend.
The quiet weather pattern comes as October typically brings cooler, wetter conditions to Ohio. Until the shift arrives, those in Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown, and surrounding areas should prepare for continued sunshine, warm afternoons, and dry air.
