Cleveland, Ohio – A few early-morning thunderstorms could delay commutes across Northeast Ohio Tuesday, but drier skies and rising heat will soon take over the week.
According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, isolated showers and storms will clear out by midday Tuesday, with dry weather returning through Saturday. High temperatures will rise steadily, starting in the low-to-mid 80s today and climbing into the low 90s by the weekend.
From Akron to Sandusky, the trend will be sunshine and summer heat. Roads may remain slick through late morning, especially in low-lying or poorly drained areas. After that, the region is expected to enjoy several days of dry, stable weather—ideal for travel, outdoor events, and summer activities. Overnight lows will remain mild, in the 60s through the end of the week.
Residents should stay hydrated, limit outdoor work during peak heat hours later this week, and check on vulnerable neighbors and pets as temperatures climb toward 90°F.
No additional alerts are currently in effect, but more advisories could be issued if humidity increases or air quality deteriorates.
