CINCINNATI, Ohio – Foggy conditions early Tuesday will give way to several days of warm sunshine and calm breezes across southwest Ohio. The tranquil fall pattern holds through Friday before showers and a few rumbles of thunder return by the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, patchy fog could reduce visibility to under a half mile through 8 a.m., especially along the Ohio River and I-75 corridor. Drivers should slow down and use low beams until conditions improve. Once fog lifts, skies clear quickly, with highs climbing into the mid-70s under gentle northeast winds.
Wednesday through Friday will feature classic fall weather — sunny skies, light winds, and highs in the low to mid-70s. Lows will dip into the upper 40s, making for cool, comfortable nights perfect for outdoor sports, campus events, and leaf-viewing. By Saturday, moisture increases ahead of a weak front that may bring scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms by afternoon, with rain chances near 50%.
The pattern then turns slightly cooler by Sunday, with highs back near the mid-60s under partly cloudy skies. Overall, it’s a near-perfect week for outdoor plans until late Saturday, when umbrellas may once again come in handy across Hamilton and Clermont Counties.
