Wilmington, OH – Light snow is expected to arrive across Ohio late Thursday into the night, with minor accumulations predicted. Commuters should remain cautious, particularly on bridges, overpasses, and Interstate 70, as slippery conditions could develop.

According to the National Weather Service, snow accumulation could range from 0.5 to 2 inches in parts of southwest Ohio, including Wilmington, Cincinnati, and surrounding areas. Grassy surfaces and elevated roadways are most at risk. Precipitation is expected to taper off by early Friday morning, leaving clear but cold conditions.

For Friday, sunny skies are forecast with temperatures reaching the low 50s. However, Friday night will bring chilly conditions, with lows near 39 degrees. By Saturday, highs will climb to the upper 50s, followed by a warming trend into Sunday and Monday, with temperatures reaching 66°F and 71°F, respectively.

Drivers should exercise caution during tonight’s commute and early Friday morning due to possible icy patches. Travelers along major routes such as I-70 and State Route 35 are advised to reduce speeds and allow extra travel time.

The next few days will see a mix of winter and fall-like conditions. Plan for freezing overnight temperatures but enjoy mild and sunny afternoons as the weekend progresses. Stay updated with the latest weather forecasts to prepare for potential changes in conditions.
