CINCINNATI, Ohio – Sunshine and near-record warmth will push into Cincinnati this weekend, keeping temperatures in the 80s while fall decorations go up across Hamilton County. Drivers on I-71 and I-75 can expect clear skies and dry pavement Saturday, making travel safer and smoother than a typical October weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, Cincinnati will stay mostly sunny through Saturday, with highs near 85 degrees and calm winds. Lows will dip into the upper 50s, offering cooler evenings for outdoor dining, high school football, or prepping yards for Halloween.

Saturday looks especially favorable for outdoor events, from pumpkin festivals to trips along the Ohio Riverfront. With no rain in the forecast, organizers and families can plan confidently. The warm spell also means added energy demand, so Duke Energy recommends checking outdoor lights and electrical decorations before installing them.

Sunday brings more of the same—bright skies and highs again around 85. Conditions remain calm into Monday, though clouds increase and a chance of showers arrives early next week. By Tuesday, rain chances rise to 50 percent, which could affect commutes and school bus routes across Hamilton and Clermont counties.

Residents are urged to take advantage of the stretch of dry weather to finish lawn work, secure Halloween displays, or prepare homes ahead of the wetter pattern expected midweek.
