Cleveland, OH – Light to moderate snow is expected across northern Ohio late Saturday into Sunday morning, with up to 4 inches of accumulation possible in some areas.
According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, snow will begin moving in from the southwest by Saturday evening, becoming steadiest between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. in northwest Ohio. Heavier snow bands may briefly produce rates near one inch per hour, particularly north and west of Findlay and Sandusky, while most other areas—including Cleveland, Akron, and Youngstown—will see 1 to 2 inches.
Roads are expected to become snow-covered and slick overnight, with wind gusts up to 40 mph possibly creating blowing snow and reduced visibility through early Sunday morning.
Drivers are advised to use caution, allow extra time for travel, and monitor road conditions before heading out.
No major changes were made from earlier forecasts, but the Weather Service continues to urge residents to stay alert for localized heavier bursts that could briefly worsen travel conditions.
