Wilmington, OH – A rollercoaster of temperatures and precipitation is in store for the Ohio Valley this week as spring weather makes an early yet turbulent arrival. Residents should prepare for a mix of sunshine, rain, and even a chance of snow by midweek.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will bring mostly sunny skies with highs reaching 46°F. However, the weather turns more active Tuesday, with a slight chance of showers and temperatures climbing to 59°F. The real shift arrives Tuesday night into Wednesday, as widespread rain showers and gusty winds up to 45 mph sweep through the region.

Wednesday’s high will reach 56°F, but steady rain could make for slick commutes, especially along I-71 and I-75. By Wednesday night, temperatures will drop to 29°F, transitioning rain into a potential wintry mix. Snow showers could accumulate in some areas, creating hazardous driving conditions into early Thursday.

Thursday will bring a much cooler, breezy day with a high near 40°F before another round of unsettled weather returns Friday. The forecast calls for a mix of clouds and sun, with temperatures ranging from 32°F overnight to 49°F during the day. A chance of showers lingers into Saturday as temperatures approach the upper 40s.

Residents should stay updated on shifting conditions, especially as midweek storms develop. Travel could be impacted, and strong winds may cause power outages in some areas. Be sure to check local forecasts and take necessary precautions for fluctuating spring weather.
