Cleveland, OH – Northeast Ohio will experience a shift in weather this week, with snow showers returning midweek. Residents can expect mild temperatures today and Monday, but colder air and wintry conditions will develop by Tuesday night.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s highs will reach near 48°F with mostly sunny skies and breezy southwest winds. Showers are expected overnight into Monday, with temperatures falling to the low 40s. Monday will remain mild, with highs near 50°F, but a strong cold front will bring a chance of rain transitioning to snow Tuesday night.

By Wednesday, snow showers will likely blanket the region, especially along I-90 and surrounding roadways. High temperatures will drop sharply to the mid-30s, with breezy conditions and a wind chill in the teens. Travel could become hazardous as snow accumulates and visibility decreases.

Overnight lows will drop into the teens, making conditions dangerously cold for those outdoors for extended periods.
