Cleveland, OH – Severe weather is on the horizon for Ohio as thunderstorms are expected to sweep through the region today and tonight. The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a severe weather outlook, indicating the possibility of weakening showers moving into Northwest Ohio this morning before dissipating. Another line of weak thunderstorms may impact parts of extreme Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania.

According to the National Weather Service, additional thunderstorms may develop this afternoon in the circled area highlighted on the map, although there is low confidence in these storms becoming severe. The primary concern is a line of weakening storms moving from west to east across the area tonight. The best chance for severe weather will be towards the western part of the forecast area, particularly around the I-75 corridor.

Damaging winds will be the primary weather hazard, with the potential for heavy rain causing localized flooding. Residents are advised to stay updated on weather conditions and take necessary precautions.

For the rest of the week, the forecast shows varied weather patterns. Tuesday will see more thunderstorms with temperatures reaching up to 82°F. Cooler temperatures are expected on Wednesday and Thursday, with highs around 70°F and 65°F, respectively. The weather will stabilize towards the weekend with sunny skies and temperatures ranging from 62°F to 78°F.
