Sidney, OH – A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of west-central Ohio, including Sidney, Bellefontaine, and surrounding areas, until 7:45 PM EDT Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service, the storm could bring winds up to 60 mph and penny-sized hail. Areas affected include Botkins, Anna, Quincy, and West Liberty, potentially impacting a population of over 131,000, along with 46 schools and three hospitals.
Residents are advised to take immediate precautions and stay updated on weather alerts. The storm may cause significant disruptions, so plan accordingly and stay indoors if possible.
