According to the National Weather Service, colder air pushes back in this evening. Snow showers may develop after sunset and continue into early Wednesday morning. Accumulation looks limited, but visibility can drop quickly during heavier bursts. Winds increase out of the west at 10 to 15 mph, with gusts near 25 mph along I-90 and lakeshore routes.

Looking ahead, NOAA’s 6–10 day outlook favors above-normal temperatures across the Great Lakes. Despite Lake Erie remaining heavily frozen, a gradual thaw appears possible early next week. That pattern increases daytime melting and nighttime refreezing risks.
