Ohio Kids Invited to Enter State Patrol’s Holiday Card Design Contest

Columbus, OH – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is inviting young artists to showcase their creativity in its annual Holiday Card Contest. This competition is open to Ohio residents aged 12 and under, with the winning artwork set to be featured as the official holiday card for the Colonel of the Highway Patrol.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, submissions should include the phrase “May Your Holidays be Filled with Hope and Joy,” as well as the agency’s “Flying Wheel” logo and a depiction of their therapy dog, K9 Hope. Artwork should be formatted to an 8.5” x 11” sheet and submitted via photo by email. The deadline for submissions is Friday, Nov. 15, at 8 a.m.

Winners will be announced on Nov. 22, and the chosen design will also appear in the Patrol’s quarterly magazine and social media. This initiative offers young Ohioans an exciting chance to contribute to the state’s holiday traditions.
