Columbus, OH – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is inviting children across the state to showcase their creativity in its annual Holiday Card Contest. The competition encourages Ohio kids, ages 12 and under, to design festive artwork for a chance to have their creation featured on the Colonel’s official holiday greeting card.

According to the Patrol, each submission must include specific design elements such as the Ohio flag, the Patrol’s Flying Wheel emblem, a Stetson hat atop a Christmas tree, and the message “Happy Holidays from Our Family to Yours.”

Entries must be submitted by Saturday, November 15, at 12 p.m. Participants are asked to email a clear photo of their artwork to HolidayCard@dps.ohio.gov, along with the child’s name, age, grade, school, and parent contact information in the body of the email.

Finalists will be notified around Friday, November 21, with the winning design chosen shortly after. The selected artwork will be featured on the Patrol’s official holiday card, shared across Ohio and on social media.
