Ohio’s southwest corridor is already feeling the push of strong winds this morning, with gusts near 40 mph whipping across Wilmington and the Cincinnati area. Loose branches sway, trash bins rattle, and high-profile vehicles along I-71 feel the shove.
Temperatures sit in the mid-40s early, climbing toward 52 degrees by afternoon. Clouds break gradually, and sunshine returns later today. Winds remain the main story. Secure outdoor items and use caution on elevated roadways.
By tonight, winds ease and skies turn partly cloudy. Lows fall near 31 degrees. A brief snow chance develops late, though little accumulation is expected. Still, any burst of flakes near freezing could create slick patches toward dawn.
Thursday brings another small snow chance, mainly early, with highs near 48 degrees. New accumulation stays under a half inch if it materializes. Roads should improve quickly as temperatures rebound.
Then comes a noticeable spring tease. Friday turns sunny with highs near 58 degrees. Saturday pushes even warmer, near 60 degrees under bright skies. It will feel more like late March than late February.
Sunday cools slightly with a high near 44 and partly sunny skies. By Sunday night into early next week, rain chances increase, with a mix possible at times. Highs settle back into the 40s Monday before moderating again.
