Ohio commuters are peering through thick fog and mist this morning as visibility drops below one mile in spots around Cincinnati. At Lunken Airport, light rain and fog hold temperatures near 40 degrees, and visibility has dipped to three-quarters of a mile.

Rain continues through the early hours before tapering late this morning. Roads along I-71, I-75, and the Brent Spence Bridge remain damp. Use low beams and allow extra braking distance. Calm winds mean fog lingers longer in river valleys and low-lying neighborhoods.

As steadier rain pulls away, patchy fog redevelops tonight. Lows fall to the mid-30s. By Monday morning, widespread fog may again reduce visibility under one mile across southwest Ohio and northern Kentucky. Plan extra time for the commute.

Skies brighten Monday afternoon with highs near 56 degrees. That warming trend continues into Tuesday, when temperatures climb to around 60 under mostly cloudy skies. President’s Day week begins on a mild note.

Midweek turns more unsettled. A 40 percent chance of rain arrives Wednesday with highs surging to 66 degrees. Additional showers are possible Thursday with highs near the upper 60s. While this is not a winter storm setup, wet pavement combined with cooler nighttime temperatures could create isolated slick spots if readings dip quickly after sunset.

Looking ahead to the 6–10 day outlook, above-normal temperatures expand across much of the central U.S. Spring vibes build across the Ohio Valley, though periodic rain chances remain in play.
