Wilmington, OH – Flood warnings remain in effect for multiple rivers in Ohio, including the Licking River at McKinneysburg and the Scioto River at Circleville. Minor flooding is ongoing, with additional rainfall expected to impact the area through Wednesday evening.
The Licking River at McKinneysburg is currently at 40.5 feet and expected to recede below flood stage later today. Lowland flooding continues in Pendleton County, particularly near McKinneysburg Road and Colvin Bend Road. Mobile homes and agricultural buildings along the river are at risk of being affected by rising water.
In Circleville, minor flooding continues along the Scioto River, particularly around Mill and Canal Roads, Island Road, and State Route 762. Backwater flooding from Big Darby Creek is impacting local roads, including sections of State Route 56 and Ted Lewis Park.
