Cleveland, OH– Authorities are renewing their call for information in the unsolved 2020 killing of retired Cleveland firefighter Wilbert McCormick, offering a $5,000 reward for tips that could help solve the case.
According to the Cuyahoga County Sheriffโs Office, McCormick was allegedly shot and killed while walking with his wife in the parking lot of Forest Hill Park on Arlington Road at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Despite ongoing investigations, no arrests have been made in connection with his murder.
Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County is urging anyone with information to come forward. All tips remain anonymous, and individuals who provide information leading to the arrest and indictment of those allegedly responsible could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000.
