Cleveland, OH – Snowfall and strong winds are expected across northern Ohio and parts of Pennsylvania from early Sunday through Monday morning, with accumulations of up to 5 inches and wind gusts reaching 45 mph in some areas.
According to the National Weather Service, a winter weather advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday for Cleveland, Ashtabula, Medina, and surrounding areas. Northwest Ohio, including Toledo and Bowling Green, will see snow beginning at 1 a.m. Sunday, tapering off by 7 p.m.
Snow accumulation of 2 to 5 inches is anticipated, with winds gusting up to 40 mph, creating hazardous travel conditions. Rain will transition to snow from northwest to southeast throughout Sunday as colder air moves in.
