A retail theft arrest was made at CVS Pharmacy, 438 Madison St., where officers arrested 19-year-old Jeremach S. Carter of Chicago for allegedly stealing merchandise. He was processed, cited, and released with a court date.

Police also noted a package theft on Garfield Street involving a stolen Xbox controller valued at $55.
