Forecasters predict snow accumulations exceeding 12 inches, with isolated totals up to 18 inches in some areas. Gusty winds of up to 45 mph could further complicate conditions, leading to reduced visibility and potential power outages.

The heaviest snow is expected overnight and Thursday morning, creating hazardous conditions during the morning commute. Snow bands may shift north during the day before weakening Thursday evening. Drivers are urged to monitor weather changes and avoid unnecessary travel.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation advises motorists to prepare for delays and check travel updates at 511PA. Emergency supplies, including flashlights, food, and water, are recommended for those venturing out.
