The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a warning, highlighting Wednesday as the hottest day of the week. This extreme heat is anticipated to challenge daily records and pose dangers, especially to individuals sensitive to high temperatures.

According to the National Weather Service, the high temperatures will impact regions including the Wasatch Front, Cache Valley, Tooele Valley, Rush Valley, Great Salt Lake Desert, Eastern Millard, and Juab counties. The extended forecast for Salt Lake City shows a slight relief after Wednesday. Thursday’s high is predicted to be 92°F, followed by consistent temperatures in the low to mid-90s through the weekend. Friday and Saturday are expected to reach 93°F, with Sunday peaking at 94°F. The heat continues into next week, with Monday’s high forecasted at 97°F.
