Cleveland, OH – Ohio residents should prepare for severe thunderstorms, as a marginal risk has been extended to cover most of Northern Ohio and extreme Northwest Pennsylvania tonight through Wednesday.

According to the US National Weather Service in Cleveland, the remnants of Tropical Storm Beryl will trigger showers and thunderstorms, potentially severe, with gusts up to 60 mph. The risk includes a brief tornado possibility and will shift into Northwest Pennsylvania on Wednesday.

Today’s forecast for Cleveland includes light rain and drizzle, with temperatures peaking at 81°F. Wednesday will see continued stormy weather with a high of 81°F, accompanied by heavy rain and strong winds. The thunderstorms are expected to dissipate by Thursday, giving way to cooler temperatures around 67°F and partly cloudy skies.

For the weekend, Ohioans can anticipate sunny skies with highs in the mid-70s to low-80s. However, early next week, there is a potential for more unsettled weather.
