Reno, Nev. – Reno will hold onto warm, sunny weather through midweek, with highs climbing into the upper 80s before a shift late in the week brings a chance of showers. The National Weather Service reports dry skies and calm conditions will dominate Sunday through Wednesday, offering several days of uninterrupted sunshine across northern Nevada.

According to the agency, Sunday will see highs near 83 degrees in Reno with light west winds. Temperatures rise into the mid-80s Monday and could peak around 88 on Wednesday. Overnight lows remain seasonable, mostly in the low to mid-50s. Winds stay calm, though gusts up to 20 mph are possible Sunday evening.

Travelers on I-80 and U.S. 395 can expect smooth driving conditions under clear skies. With daytime highs running 5 to 10 degrees above average, residents should stay hydrated and avoid prolonged time outdoors during peak afternoon hours.

Changes arrive late Thursday as a weak system increases cloud cover and introduces a slight chance of showers into Friday and Saturday. The cooler air could bring highs back into the upper 70s by the weekend.
