Duluth, MN – Residents across northern Minnesota can expect a mild, breezy day today before rain showers move in tonight, according to the National Weather Service in Duluth. Temperatures will climb into the upper 50s to mid-60s this afternoon, with gusty south winds reaching up to 25 mph.
According to the weather service, sunshine will dominate much of the morning before clouds increase through the day. Showers are likely to develop later this afternoon and continue into the evening hours.
Looking ahead, forecasters expect mostly dry and mild weather Friday and Saturday, with highs ranging from the mid-50s to mid-60s. A few isolated showers may develop Friday in the Arrowhead region, but most of the area should stay dry through the weekend. Rain is forecast to return late Sunday and continue into Monday.
Drivers are advised to watch for wet roads and reduced visibility this evening as rain arrives, particularly along Highway 53 and the North Shore region.
