Gaylord, Michigan – Clouds are clearing out across northern Michigan, bringing sunny skies and comfortable temperatures to start the week. Today’s highs will reach between 71°F and 79°F, with a cool, mostly clear night ahead.

According to the US National Weather Service in Gaylord, temperatures will warm gradually over the next few days. There’s a slight chance of scattered showers or a thunderstorm Tuesday afternoon—mainly west of Gaylord—and again on Wednesday and Friday. Most areas will stay dry, with no major impacts expected for outdoor plans at this time.

Wednesday could bring brief showers or a storm, especially during the afternoon, but Thursday looks sunny and pleasant with highs in the upper 70s to mid-80s. By Friday, another chance for showers returns as highs push toward the low 80s.

Travelers and residents should watch for isolated rain but can expect mostly dry weather for events and daily activities. To prepare, consider packing a light rain jacket if heading out midweek, and keep devices charged in case of an isolated storm.

This stretch of mild, mostly sunny weather is typical for early July in northern Michigan. More weather updates and potential advisories will be issued if storm chances increase later in the week.
