Gaylord, MI – Residents across Northern Michigan can expect a stretch of dry and mostly pleasant weather to continue through the work week, according to the US National Weather Service in Gaylord.
Sunny skies are forecast today with highs between 70 and 81 degrees, followed by mostly clear conditions tonight and overnight lows dipping into the 40s and 50s.
According to the weather service, a shift in wind direction will arrive Tuesday as a back-door cold front pushes into the region. That system is expected to bring breezy east winds, while afternoon highs remain comfortable in the mid-60s to upper 70s under mostly sunny skies.
By midweek, conditions turn partly cloudy with cooler highs. Wednesday’s forecast calls for temperatures between 60 and 73 degrees, while Thursday remains partly cloudy with highs around 64 to 72 degrees. No rain is currently in the outlook through at least Thursday, making for an extended stretch of favorable autumn weather across the region.
Residents are encouraged to plan outdoor activities early in the week to take advantage of the mild conditions before clouds increase midweek.
