Gaylord, MI – A new round of snowfall and subzero wind chills will keep Michigan roads slick through midweek, with hazardous travel conditions persisting.

The National Weather Service reports that Monday’s storm could bring up to 6 inches of snow, making roads hazardous, especially during rush hour. Travelers should reduce speeds and allow extra time for commutes.

Tuesday morning will see temperatures dropping to around -1°F, with wind chills making it feel even colder. A slight chance of snow showers lingers into Tuesday night, with skies remaining mostly cloudy.

Wednesday will offer a brief break before another snowstorm moves in Wednesday night, bringing a 90% chance of snow through Thursday morning.

Motorists are urged to monitor road conditions and exercise caution when traveling.
