Gaylord, MI – The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for parts of Northern Lower Michigan, including Cheboygan, Alpena, and Gaylord, from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday.
Temperatures are expected to drop as low as 32 degrees, leading to potential frost formation. According to the advisory, frost could damage or kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left unprotected. Residents are urged to take precautionary measures to safeguard their plants.
Counties affected include Manistee, Wexford, and Presque Isle, among others. The frost advisory extends to portions of Lake, Osceola, and Clare counties.
