Fort Wayne, IN – Fog, rain, and mild temperatures will shape the weather pattern for the first weekend of February, creating hazardous travel conditions.
A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. Friday, with visibility under one-quarter mile. According to the National Weather Service, fog will persist through daybreak, affecting northern Indiana, northwest Ohio, and parts of Michigan.
Saturday’s high will reach 45°F, with rain showers expected throughout the day. Sunday will be slightly warmer, at 50°F, but overcast skies will continue. Monday and Tuesday will see mid-40s temperatures with mostly cloudy conditions.
Drivers should slow down, use low-beam headlights, and allow extra travel time to avoid fog-related crashes. Prepare for slick roads and low visibility in the morning hours.
