Syracuse, IN – Northern Indiana residents can expect a dry, seasonable fall weekend with chilly mornings and mild afternoons, according to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana.
After a frosty start Saturday morning, skies will gradually clear with afternoon highs reaching the mid- to upper 50s, topping out around 58°F in some locations. Tonight’s lows will fall back into the low to mid-30s, allowing for more patchy frost, especially in rural areas.
Sunday will bring brighter skies and a modest warm-up, with highs climbing into the upper 50s to lower 60s. Clouds may return briefly Sunday night, but conditions are expected to remain dry through the start of the workweek.
Forecasters say this stable pattern will persist into early next week, keeping temperatures close to normal for late October. Residents should continue to protect sensitive plants from frost during overnight hours.
