Wednesday looks mostly sunny and dry, with afternoon highs reaching 73 to 76 degrees. Winds will turn southwest late in the day, allowing a more unsettled pattern to return Thursday.
The best chance for widespread rain arrives Thursday afternoon and evening, especially north of U.S. 6, when thunderstorms are also possible. Motorists traveling on I-69 or U.S. 30 should watch for reduced visibility and slick roads during passing showers.
Friday and the weekend trend drier with mostly sunny skies and seasonable highs in the low 70s. Residents are advised to keep umbrellas handy through Thursday before the dry stretch sets in.
