Fort Wayne, IN – Northern Indiana will see a warm and dry Tuesday before a shift to cooler, wetter weather midweek, according to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana.
Forecasters say areas of morning fog, especially east of I-69, will give way to decreasing clouds and comfortable highs ranging from 70 to 77 degrees. Overnight, temperatures will fall into the upper 40s and low 50s.
A 20–40% chance of rain develops late tonight into early Wednesday morning, mainly near Lake Michigan, as a weak front moves through the region. Wednesday will feel noticeably cooler, with highs only in the low to mid-60s.
The NWS advises motorists to use caution during the early morning commute due to patchy fog and reduced visibility, particularly in rural and low-lying areas.
Cooler and breezier conditions are expected to continue into midweek before temperatures moderate again toward the weekend.
