Fort Wayne, IN – Northern Indiana will see seasonably mild temperatures through early next week before a cold front moves in this weekend. Highs will reach the 40s and 50s before dropping into the 20s and 30s.

According to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana, rain is expected Wednesday, with a 60% chance of precipitation. A few sprinkles may linger Thursday and Friday, but overall, conditions will be mild.

By Saturday, temperatures will begin to drop, with highs only reaching the 30s. Overnight lows will fall into the teens and 20s, bringing a much colder end to the weekend.

The temperature swing is due to a cold front moving in from the northwest, replacing the unseasonably warm conditions. Those traveling this weekend should be prepared for rapidly changing temperatures.

While no significant winter weather is expected, a chance of rain returns by early next week. Residents should stay updated on forecasts and dress appropriately for the colder conditions by Saturday.
