Fort Wayne, IN – Residents across northern Indiana are enjoying a mild and breezy Sunday with plenty of sunshine, according to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana.
Temperatures today will reach the low to mid-50s, slightly above seasonal averages. Winds will remain light to moderate through the afternoon before calming overnight. Skies stay mostly clear tonight, with lows dipping into the upper 20s to low 30s under calm, cool conditions.
Clouds begin to increase Monday morning ahead of an approaching system that will bring light rain late in the day. Highs will again climb into the upper 40s to low 50s, keeping the start of the week relatively mild.
Forecasters say rain chances will rise Monday evening and continue into early Tuesday before cooler and drier air returns midweek.
Travelers and commuters can expect dry conditions through early Monday, with wet roads possible Monday night as showers move in from the west.
