Northern Indiana residents can expect warm temperatures with a chance of rain and thunderstorms over the Memorial Day weekend. Today, there is a 20% chance of scattered showers or storms south of US-24, with highs ranging from 70 to 83 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service, Thursday will be mostly sunny and partly cloudy with highs between 76 and 81 degrees. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are possible on Friday, with temperatures reaching 80 to 85 degrees. Saturday will be partly cloudy with highs from 69 to 80 degrees. The weekend wraps up with afternoon showers and storms likely on Sunday, and temperatures between 73 and 78 degrees.
