Fort Wayne, IN – Skies will clear overnight across northern Indiana as a cold front pushes through the region, bringing a stretch of cooler weather into Sunday and Monday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Northern Indiana.

Tonight will be breezy with lows falling into the 34–37 degree range as clouds gradually break apart. By Sunday, conditions turn sunny but noticeably cooler, with highs reaching only 44–49 degrees. Winds will pick up through the afternoon, making it feel even colder across open areas and near Lake Michigan.

According to the NWS, Monday will remain seasonably cool with highs in the mid to upper 40s and overnight lows dropping further into the 25–31 degree range. This marks a brief return to below-average temperatures after several mild days earlier in the week.

Despite the cool down, dry conditions are expected throughout the early-week period, offering a clear and quiet weather pattern heading toward midweek. Winds will ease on Monday, allowing for a calmer but crisp start to the week.

Residents should prepare for chilly mornings and wind-driven cold on Sunday, especially in rural areas and open fields where gusts may be stronger.
