According to the US National Weather Service Northern Indiana, the greatest flooding concern is in urban areas and parts of southwest Michigan, which already saw significant rain earlier this week. Residents in flood-prone areas are advised to take action and ensure they have multiple ways to receive warnings at night. Areas to the southeast will see less rain, but wind gusts of 30-40 mph are also anticipated on Wednesday.
Today’s forecast predicts a high of 79°F with an 85% chance of rain throughout the day. Heavy rainfall is expected to continue into Wednesday, with temperatures reaching a high of 74°F. The rain is expected to subside by Thursday, bringing partly cloudy skies and a high of 81°F. The weather will clear up by the weekend, with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-60s to low-80s expected.
