The weekend brings a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms on Saturday, especially during the afternoon and evening. South winds may increase travel challenges during downpours, though widespread severe weather is not expected.

By Sunday, skies will clear again with highs in the lower 80s, giving the city and suburbs a break from unsettled conditions. Sunshine continues into early next week, offering a stretch of calm weather for outdoor events and travel.

Residents should use caution on foggy roads Friday morning and keep an eye out for localized showers Saturday. Storm chances end by late Saturday night, with sunny and stable conditions returning through Tuesday.
