According to a social media post from park officials on Wednesday, conservation police discovered blue and black graffiti on the face of Sandstone Point over the weekend. Park staff expressed deep disappointment, noting the rock has been undisturbed since glacial times.
Officials urge anyone with information about the incident to call the conservation police tip line at 877-2DNRLAW. Information can be provided anonymously. The park shared scenic photos instead of the graffiti, highlighting the natural beauty that the act of vandalism marred.
