According to the National Weather Service in Flagstaff, Thursday will be sunny with a high near 74°F and light winds shifting south at 9 to 14 mph. Thursday night will dip to about 44°F under mostly clear skies.
Friday brings the strongest winds of the week. Forecasters say Flagstaff will see sunshine with highs near 72°F, but breezy southwest winds will pick up in the afternoon, reaching 20 to 25 mph with gusts as high as 41 mph. Friday night will cool down to 41°F with lingering breezes.
Saturday and Sunday remain sunny, with highs in the mid-60s and overnight lows dropping to the low-30s by Sunday night. Winds will ease slightly over the weekend, though gusts up to 18 mph remain possible.
Looking ahead, Monday through Wednesday continue with dry, sunny weather. Daytime highs will stay in the low 70s, while nighttime lows hover in the 30s and 40s. A slight chance of showers enters the forecast by Wednesday, October 8.
