Flagstaff, AZ – Rain and snow showers will move across northern Arizona today as a cold front pushes from northwest to southeast, according to the National Weather Service in Flagstaff.

Forecasters say precipitation will begin this morning and continue through the afternoon, with accumulations expected to remain minor. However, brief periods of reduced visibility and slick travel are possible, especially along Interstate 40 near Flagstaff and through the surrounding High Country.

Precipitation chances range from 40–60% across Flagstaff, Williams, and the White Mountains, tapering off to the west. Light snow accumulations—mostly under one inch—are possible at higher elevations near Buffalo Pass and Springerville.

Drivers are urged to use caution, particularly on mountain passes and during bursts of heavier snow. Conditions are expected to improve late tonight as the system moves east.
