Flagstaff, Arizona – Clear skies and warming temperatures are on tap for much of northern Arizona through Friday, giving residents a break from recent unsettled weather.

According to the National Weather Service in Flagstaff, scattered light precipitation seen early Thursday will clear by mid-morning, followed by mostly sunny skies both Thursday and Friday. High temperatures will range from 58 to 68°F in the high country and climb to 85°F in the low deserts, with the most noticeable warming expected Friday.

Winds will remain breezy Thursday, especially in exposed areas, with southwest gusts reaching up to 25 mph. By Friday, wind speeds are expected to ease to 10–20 mph across the region. Travel impacts will be minimal, but drivers should remain alert in areas where early morning moisture could linger.

Residents in Flagstaff, Sedona, and Prescott can expect ideal spring conditions through the end of the workweek. In Phoenix and other low-elevation communities, temperatures will feel more like early summer—stay hydrated and limit outdoor activity during peak heat hours.

No weather alerts are currently in effect, but the National Weather Service will issue updates if conditions change. Warmer, calmer weather is expected to continue into the weekend.
