HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Sunshine and dry skies will dominate northern Alabama through midweek as a gradual warming trend pushes highs closer to 90 degrees by Wednesday. Drivers and outdoor workers will see no rain interruptions, but rising afternoon heat could become a factor by midweek.
According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, Sunday stays pleasant with highs between 75 and 80 degrees and cooler overnight lows dipping to the lower 50s. Monday begins the warmup, climbing into the low 80s with nighttime temperatures staying in the upper 50s.
By Tuesday, afternoon highs will range from 80 to 86 degrees, and the region will remain completely dry. The warmest stretch arrives Wednesday, when Huntsville, Decatur, and Florence could see highs pushing 89 degrees with lows holding near 60.
The extended dry pattern means lawns and gardens may need extra watering, and residents spending long hours outside are encouraged to stay hydrated as humidity levels slowly increase.
Clear skies and mild nights continue to anchor the forecast, with no rain expected through at least midweek. The National Weather Service will issue additional updates if patterns shift later in the week.
