Huntsville, AL – A low chance of severe storms is forecasted for Northern Alabama this Friday evening, from 3 PM to 8 PM CDT, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Huntsville. The primary threats include damaging winds and heavy rainfall, with a lesser chance of large hail.

The NWS reports that while not everyone will experience these storms, those who do may encounter severe weather conditions. Storms that do form could extend beyond 8 PM, bringing gusty winds and frequent lightning. Residents are advised to stay weather-aware and have multiple ways to receive warnings.

Looking ahead, the forecast shows a rise in temperatures for Huntsville. Saturday will see sunny skies with a high of 88°F and a low of 70°F. Sunday follows with similar sunny conditions, reaching a high of 91°F and a low of 69°F.

The start of next week will bring increasing temperatures. Monday will be sunny with a high of 93°F and a low of 72°F. The heat continues through Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs of 94°F and lows in the low 70s. By Thursday, the weather will remain sunny, with a high of 91°F and a low of 71°F.
