Green Bay, WI – The coldest air of the fall season is set to arrive this weekend, bringing a sharp temperature drop and several rounds of light snow across parts of northeast Wisconsin, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.

Lows tonight will fall into the low 20s, with highs Saturday only reaching the upper 30s to low 40s. Light snow or flurries are possible Saturday afternoon and evening across central and east-central Wisconsin, though little accumulation is expected.

By Sunday, colder air deepens with highs in the upper 20s to mid-30s. The best chance for measurable snow will occur late Sunday into early Monday, especially across north-central Wisconsin and northern Door County, where lake-effect snow from Lake Superior could bring light accumulations.

Residents should prepare for a winter-like weekend with frosty mornings and occasional slick spots, especially in northern areas. The cold pattern is expected to continue into early next week before gradual moderation midweek.
