Green Bay, WI – Residents in Green Bay should prepare for a wintry mix of snow and subzero wind chills overnight and into Thursday. Forecasters warn that snow accumulations of up to one inch could create slick conditions, especially during early commutes.

According to the National Weather Service, light snow will develop overnight, with wind chills between -10 and -15 degrees expected. By Thursday morning, gusts up to 13 mph may worsen visibility on roads, including State Highway 41. Drivers are urged to exercise caution and allow extra travel time.

A break from snowfall is predicted Thursday afternoon, as skies clear to mostly sunny with a high of 19 degrees. Wind chills will persist, making it feel much colder.

Looking ahead, temperatures will remain bitter through Friday, with lows dipping to 14 degrees. However, mostly sunny skies are forecast for the weekend, with highs reaching 31 degrees Saturday and 24 degrees Sunday.

Residents should also be prepared for ongoing light lake-effect snow through early next week, which could lead to additional slippery conditions. Spotters are encouraged to report snowfall measurements to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.
